Cianin da Stiva is a Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore, one of the most renowned Italian wines for its intrinsic qualities that make it particularly attractive and suitable for high quality ageing.
It comes from a blend of Nebbiolo grapes grown in the heart of the production area. Soil with a strong siliceous component, which gives the resulting wines great aromas and great elegance. In conclusion, a great wine that is the pride of the Roero territory from one of the oldest black grape varieties in Piedmont.
As it ages, Cianin da Stiva takes on a characteristic orange hue at the rim of the glass and matures to reveal other aromas and flavours, more or less intense and mixed from year to year, such as violets, tar, wild herbs, cherries, raspberries, truffles, tobacco and plums. A wine for red meats as well as white meats and sauces based on them. But also fornage and mushroom preparations.
