Langhe Rosso Sclint is harvested by hand at the beginning of October and vinified through soft destemming followed by fermentation in stainless steel with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature and 8 days of maceration on the skins with frequent pumping over. Refinement takes place for 12 months in French oak tonneaux(Allier forest), followed by 6 months of bottle ageing.

FeaturesTasting notes
It is a full-bodied wine, full in the mouth, velvety and persistent with notes of vanilla. The colour is deep ruby red with garnet highlights. The bouquet is complex with notes of tobacco, plums and blackberries.
Wine & foodAbbinations
The wine should be served at room temperature. It goes well with lamb, boiled meat, roasts and game. Ideal for grilled meats and pasta with elaborate sauces.
